On reflection on the sentry gun project itself I found it very enjoyable and very rewarding as I managed to discover and learn new tools such as the baking process and particle effects as well as experiment with software which should hopefully prepare me for the next project which is the character project. Although this is the case I do find that this project lead to too many stressful moments when working with technology such as the baking process failing many times which in turn lead to me working and texturing stressed out resulting in a quality which at the time I was not happy with. Moreover when discussing my current textures after spending the Christmas break painting material studies I have now seen areas of my model which I would like to retextures as I now feel like I have the knowledge to produce a better outcome. I would also like to mention that the handing in process of this project I found to be very stressful as there were many parts of the brief which I did not understand to my ability such as certain hand in formats or specifications needed. In addition to this the many rumors circulating what we needed to hand in further fuelled more confusion especially on the day of hand in. Looking back what I should have done s email my tutors for help and rather ignore all the rumors to fully understand what I need to hand in.
